The name InLab encompasses several important concepts. In stands for International Interdisciplinary Investigations into Individual Differences. We are always InLab – engaged in research and collaborations – contributing to unlocking the mysteries of human mind and behaviour.

The disguised sigma (Σ) in our logo stands for both summation and self-energy concepts. Our Logo also includes the 1+1>2 motto, reflecting our belief in the non-additive nature of collaboration. Bringing together diverse expertise and experiences optimises resources and produces new ideas, approaches and directions.

Through a system of internships for researchers and students, InLab has helped 100s of researchers build expertise across cognitive sciences, cross-cultural psychology, behavioural genetics, bioethics, education and other fields.

InLab’s research has led to 100s of publications in academic journals, reports, scientific presentations, public engagement events, training programmes and partnerships.
